Troy Beyer (born November 7 1964 in New York City, New York, is an American film director, screenwriter and actress.
She directed and wrote the screenplay for Love Don't Cost a Thing (2003) and Let's Talk About Sex (1998). She also wrote the screenplay for the 1997 film B*A*P*S.
Beyer is biracial: her mother is African American, and her father is Jewish-American (of European descent). [1]
