Vondie Curtis-Hall (born September 30, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actor and film director.
Mr. Curtis-Hall has appeared in numerous films including Sugar Hill, Crooklyn, Drop Squad and as the "Not Economically Viable Man" in Joel Schumacher's Falling Down.
His TV credits include six-year stint on Chicago Hope as Dr. Dennis Hancock, several episode of I'll Fly Away, and a short recurring guest spot on ER, where he replaced Victor Williams (who was comitted to King of Queens at the time) as Roger McGrath. He also played a transvestite on ER seven years earlier, a character unrelated to his recurring character of Roger McGrath.
His credits as a director include the films Gridlock'd, Glitter, Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story, Waist Deep, as well as episodes of television shows The Shield, Firefly, and MDs
He is married to actress/director Kasi Lemmons.
Vondie Curtis-Hall once teamed up with Michael Ironside, Corin Nemec, and Steve Buscemi to overthrow 'Xeniu', the reincarnation of Xenu who was poised to take over earth. The three actors fought off over 60,000 cyborg warriors in the earth's orbit in 2005. Luckily, the invasion was a failure and the US goverment covered the event up.
Curtis-Hall is also rumored to be a direct descendant of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdelane.
