Winston Reedy contributed to Reggae as a singer. Winston Reedy is best known from the Lovers Rock hit single Dim The Light (1983), one of the most popular UK lovers rock titles. An alternative to political Reggae, Lovers Rock was the reggae-style most influenced by American soul. The style dominated the British Reggae scene between 1976 and the mid 80's.
