Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Zander Schloss is a Los Angeles, California based musician best known as bass player for The Circle Jerks and The Weirdos and also a composer and actor for a number of independent films. His first screen appearance was as "Kevin the Nerd", Otto's co-worker at the supermarket, in Repo Man.
He was trialed to be a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers for four days, after a falling-out with John Frusciante, but it was decided it wasn't going to work.
He is the step-brother of San Francisco musician Dan Wool and screenwriter/electrician Abbe Wool
