Biography:
I graduated with a Film/Video degree from Columbia College. I started writing movie reviews six years ago when I couldn't help but notice a foul odor of mediocrity eminating from the multiplexes. I just had to tell someone. And I've been writing about it ever since. But, as Richard O'Brien wrote, "There's a light in the darkness of everybody's life," and thank God that light is cinema, be it good or bad. I'm also an award-winning screenwriter (1999 Screenwriter's Showcase Awards) and documentary filmmaker.
Favorites:
Brazil, All the Real Girls, Gimme Shelter, Rashomon, City Lights, Joe Versus The Volcano, E.T., Heavenly Creatures, Sullivan's Travels, 5 Corners, Network, Sunset Blvd., Fearless, Magnolia, Near Dark, American Movie, The Three Colors Trilogy, Lord of the Rings trilogy
