Biography:
I am currently a full-time writer and frequent contributor to the Kansas City Star. Prior to that I spent 10 years as Entertainment Editor at the Lawrence Journal-World and seven years as music/film editor at Kansas City's The Pitch. I joined the Kansas City Film Critics Circle in 1994. I was the president of the organization from 2003-2007. I have a degree in film criticism from the University of Kansas.
