With this generation being the internet generation. More people than ever can express their oppinions in movie reviewing; for many others to see. As far as their taste in films go: Some are right on the money. Some seemed mixed, but express it is just their opinion. Some with no experience in cinema, label themselves critics, even though they are just amature reviewers and have no idea what the hell they are talking about on their popular sites. With that, list who you listen to (aside from yourself), and who, in all honesty, sucks.

(My Pics.)
Best Sites:
1. Rotten Tomatoes (duh)
2. rogerebert.com
3. Movies.com (the former parts before the merge)
4. IMDB
5. Comming Soon.net (sometimes. allot of the editors are inexperianced)

Don't Listen Sites:
1. Yahoo Movies.com (in 2008, they gave Sex in the City A+ and Iron Man a B. That ain't right. Other Critics were completly on the oposite page)
2. IGN Movies.com (ironicly, Rotten Tomatoes is owned by IGN)
3. ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com (love the skits, bad reviews on new stuff)
4. Any other major publication entertainment magazine (RollingStone, Entertainment Weekly, etc.)

I like rotten tomatoes(duh),I have IMDB on my favarite list and I admire Roger Ebert's opines. The only other reviewer that I sometimes read is Liz Braun.I do not always agree with her,but she has an acerbic wit and is usually an interesting read.

I wish to bring your attention to this critic: Armond White, a film critic for the New York Press. Now a great foundation of this group I created is the freedom of opinion concerning intelligent reviewing, and as far as that goes, he has done nothing wrong. However, brought to my attention by Roger Ebert, a critic much of the film industry, including myself, respect. He had much defense for the review of District 9 by White, then he later looked into the man's other review. As a final verdict, Ebert recalled his defense and labeled the man a "Troll". Smart, but a troll. This is a fact that has come to my great attention concerning reviews. Are you a tasteful film reviewer, or a troll who likes big explosions and falls for the Hollywood clichés. White created his own false perceptions of finding intelligence in stupid movies. Finding human reflection in "G.I. Joe", or rights of justice in "Revenge of the Fallen", but bashing "There Will Be Blood" and "Synecdoche, NY". The man can sound intelligent, but he has no idea what the hell he is talking about.

So what do you all think of Armond White? Thoughts? Discuss!

I went to Armond White's web site and I totally agree with you.He has a large vocabulary,I'll give him that. How can he espouse the social revelance of a piece of trash like SHOWGIRLS,and then claim that the films of David Cronenberg pander to the Hollywood elite.W.T.F.Armond White is a terd.Avoid at all costs.

What is your favorite movie of the summer from a critic standpoint? What summer film was the most exciting? (didn't have to be a good film), What summer film not yet to be released do you look most forward to seeing? and What summer flick was the worst?

Haha I knew that when I put that it would sound out of context. What excited me about it was the fact that I didn't know what was going to happen next....and the Milli scene...
