Without question one of the most anticipated films of the year, Iron Man 2 blasts off into theaters in May.

Robert Downey Jr. is back as quatrillionaire Tony Stark, who decides that his Iron Man identity will remain his and only his, against the will of the government. He is joined again by his faithful executive assistant extraordinaire Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).

Joining the cinematic Marvel universe this time around will be War Machine (Don Cheadle, in place of Terrence Howard), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), and Iron Maiden (played by G4 host and Internet fanboy favorite Olivia Munn). Downey Jr. told us that being Iron Man would be much more of a side job for Stark in the sequel, but based on the clip shown at Comic-Con, there will still be plenty of action to go around.

Expectations for Iron Man 2 will be through the roof this year and we, along with every other person that saw the critically acclaimed Iron Man, look forward to seeing what director Jon Favreau has ready for fans this time around.
