About The Movie: Okay, so 1974's The Taking of Pelham One Two Three surely didn't need a remake, but if we're going to get another adaptation of the Morton Freedgood novel about a standoff between a New York Transit Authority lieutenant and a band of subway hijackers, we can at least be thankful for the number of talented individuals involved -- including director Tony Scott and a cast that includes Denzel Washington, John Travolta, James Gandolfini, John Turturro, and Luis Guzman. The trailer didn't do the movie any favors, but the final product is sure to deliver some well-oiled action, right?
