About This List

I RESPECT ALL OF THESE FILMS AS A CRITIC. But they just didn't appeal to me as myself. Here are the reasons why: THE MATRIX (1999)- don't like Keanu Reeves, don't like sci-fis in general, really don't like the musty, grainy cinematography that so many sci-fis use. SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW (2004)- spent the entire film wondering why the hell everything was slightly blurred and out of focus. Also thought film took too long. MONSTERS VS. ALIENS (2009)- all the characters irritated me and I didn't think any of the jokes were funny. Saw it when I really didn't feel like seeing an animated film, so that could have something to do with it. SIGNS (2002)- I hated the cop-out ending. Also thought the whole religious b story was a bit of a mess. And I'm not a fan of Mel Gibson. THE NEVERENDING STORY (1984)- I know I know, it's an old movie, but STILL, the effects look as though they were hand-drawn. With crayon. Aside from that, the whole story just moved way too slow for me and didn't hold my attention. THE PRINCESS BRIDE (1987)- Didn't like the story within a story format and the big giant guy really really annoyed me.
