In Other News...Colin Farrell, Paris Hilton, and Lorenzo Lamas

Irish studmuffin Colin Farrell has filed suit to stop the distribution of an illicit home video filmed with former girlfriend and Playboy Playmate, Nicole Narain, dashing the hopes of pervy Hollywood watchers everywhere. The 14-minute tape, which surfaced earlier this month, was filmed over two years ago and had appeared to be on its way to worldwide distribution via an internet distribution outfit; Farrell's suit seeks unnamed damages and a temporary restraining order against its commercial release. Those left in wonder as to how damaging the tape could be to the star, whose upcoming films include this fall's "The New World" and the in-production "Miami Vice," may recall the similar career-boosting -- and career-damaging -- scandals of late, including (in no certain order) Paris Hilton, Pam & Tommy, Fred Durst, Eve, and, of course, R. Kelly.

Speaking of Paris, Ms. Hilton has managed to make the news yet again -- the "Pledge This!" celebutante-cum-actress is being sued for slanderous behavior, to the tune of $10 million, by the ex-girlfriend of new fiancé Paris Latsis. Zeta Graff, who married Graff Diamond honcho Francois Graff after dating Latsis, claims Hilton caused the venerable New York Post to portray her as a madwoman in a story reporting a nightclub tiff between the two ladies. According to the story, Graff accosted Hilton in a London club, going 'berserk' while attempting to rip off a $4 million diamond necklace on loan to Hilton from none other than Graff Diamonds.

And finally, hearts go out to former "Renegade" star Lorenzo Lamas, who's wedding to Playboy Playmate Barbara Moore was called off Saturday -- the morning of the planned ceremony. The bike-riding, butt-kicking action star, who has been married four times already and has six children, reportedly crashed his bride-to-be's bachelorette party, stumbling upon his fiancée in a compromising position with a male stripper.

Holy moly! I can't believe something like this could already cause a wedding cancellation in Hollywood, especially something in a bachelorette party.
