After Midnight (1989)
In this horror/suspense anthology picture, a group of co-ed college students meet at their demented psychology professor's house for some extracurricular pointers. The professor gets his kicks in class from scaring his students half to death. Each co-ed has to tell a story which is frightening or upsetting to her. Meanwhile, someone whom the professor really ticked off is out to get him.

I really didn't understand why the students would go to this creepy professor's house in the first place, let alone tell him a personal story like they did. The only thing that saves this from being horrible is the gore and the ending.More
Not a very good horror anthology tale. The first and last story are pretty good, but the rest, including the wraparound stuff, is just boring. I can't say I really expected very much out of it, but I at least expected something that wasn't so uninteresting. It's nice seeing Marc McClure from Back to the Future, Penelope Sudrow from Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3: Dream Warriors and Marg Helgenberger, the last of which had the biggest career of the cast, taking a shot at this. Unfortunately, the overall film is so lackluster and unsatisfying, including the ending that you can see coming from a mile away, that you're not missing much by not seeing it.More
