Simpsons Scribe & Sandler Get to Know "Everything"
by Scott Weinberg | April 15, 2005
Discuss Article
Mike Reiss, best known as a writer and producer on "The Simpsons," just sold a pitch to Adam Sandler's Happy Madison outfit. Variety describes "The Man Who Knew Everything" as "a Capraesque comedy-drama centered on the relationship between a woman and a homeless man with a great memory who's read a huge number of books."Reiss also has "Fat Man" set up at Madison, as well as "The Wife's Away" over at DreamWorks ... and then there's always the "Simpsons" movie that we're all waiting for...

I hate Adam Sandler... Sorry, almost nothing to do with this piece of news, but had to let that off somehow...

i dont mind Adam Sandler. he comes off as being intentionally crap, which is quite refreshing among all the other comedians who are intentionally silly/stupid. i havent yet figured out why being crap is a good thing for him, but it works.

Can't stand Sandler either. The only time I ever thought he was funny was when he had a cameo in The Hot Chick as a drugged-up beatnik. The dreadlocks suited him, actually.

aah Little Nicky was really funny. Happy Gilmore was still his best though. Too bad he's content with making crap now.
