It's been awhile since we've heard any news about the forever-in-the-works Dallas movie, but don't be fooled -- the development gears have continued to grind behind the scenes, and as proof, here's an item in Variety about the project's new screenwriter and (probable) director. Back to Article

My God this sounds bad. Are there any interesting NEW projects in Hollywood?!! I mean it would be nice to look forward to something else besides sequels to good movies or remakes.

Up next. a MASH movie. Not a remake of the original. But one based off of the TV show written by Bret Ratner staring Chris Tucker as Hawkeye Pierce and Dane Cook as B.J. Honeycut.
