While the camerawork is exceptional, taking us into places and situations we can only dream of, it is a shame the film's storytelling and choice of music is not of the same high standard.

Smaller children and people looking for a picture postcard overview of the North Pole will be largely satisfied, but for a more demanding viewer, the film leaves much to be desired.
