"The characters in The Happening seem like a collection of dimwits."

The characters in Signs seemed like a collection of dimwits. The characters in Teh Vilage were absolutely all dimwits. The characters in Lady in the Water were all written as dimwits.

This is one of the problems I have with a Shyamalan movie, I can't relate to any of the characers recently. But I guess he kows who his target market is.
