Critic Review - Hollywood Report Card

Our patience with the characters' apathy and uninteresting demeanor is not rewarded enough.

I agree about the splat. This movie was over-rated, IMO. It was recommended to me by several people who normally have great movie-going taste. Though I like Richard Jenkins, I felt his character was boring and pretty flat. This one felt more like a movie of the week that you would catch on television or maybe something you'd find on the Lifetime network.

I think this movie is a bit too smart for the american audience. It should of been playing in Europe or somewhere where the people aren't stupid and insane. Illegal immigrants?? Boring flat characters??? This movie wasn't really about any of those things. Maybe if it was a cartoon or a guy running around looking for rings??

The characters weren't boring(the narrative was)nor flat(the directing was).
