Though much of the plot seemed familiar, the directors managed to madk it compelling. by including small plot twists which made me feel that I was being lured down a series of backallyways. This contributed to the suspense.
There were some interesting things in the cinematography: occasional flashes of herky-jecrky motion, odd camera angles, ect. But the seemingly random changes in color hue during scenes were distracting and annoying.
This film has won several festival awards. I watched it on TV but could easily see myself enjoying it in a dark Art House cinema with a large bag of popcorn and a smile. HP. Bump.
