RT's 2010 Holiday Movie Preview!

The weather outside may be frightful, but the multiplex is so delightful. That?s right, it?s winter movie season, the most wonderful time of the year for moviegoers next to summer. We at Rotten Tomatoes have made a list, and checked it twice, and the result is the Winter Movie Preview, a compendium of the season?s biggest flicks. Back to Article

Samsonite. I was way off.

Yeah, as others have mentioned this is definitely missing most of the films with the potential of actually being good over the next few months. It appears as though RT was going for more of the mass appeal/big release look here (which is fine), but I'm certainly very excited about these (in addition to True Grit of course):

Black Swan - thanks all other comments!
The Fighter - David O's Three Kings is one of my all-time favorites
Blue Valentine
I Love You Phillip Morris - finally getting released!
The Way Back - good to see Peter Weir return!

All of the aforementioned movies sound really good. I plan on renting them all on DVD eventually, to watch during my "after-my-kid-goes-to-bed" time-to-ourselves. A compliment, as I try to keep the babysitters to a minimum, and only make it out to the theaters once a year or so, for the "event" movies.

Tron may have been my next "event" movie (depending on reviews...damn I hope it's good), but would you believe my Kid#2 is due on Dec 17th? The same day that Tron opens! I told my wife to try to hold it until after the 17th, and for some reason she gave me the Evil Eye. (?)
