Really bummed about Aronofsky leaving, he's a great director, but I have to respect him for choosing family first. He says its a great script, so maybe there's hope, and maybe Fox can find a director on the same level of his talent (David Fincher, anyone?). But seriously, couldn't they have just shot it in the US and faked it? As for Hunger Games, have not read the books so I couldn't tell, but Jennifer Lawrence is a very good actress. I don't think we need anymore Screams.

It would be so cool to see Ebert portrayed in film.

Why not offer Bryan Singer the helm for Wolverine 2?

hey that might be a good idea. He obviously loves the character as you can see by the 1st two movies which were more Wolverine and the X-men rather than just The X-men like it's suppose to be.

As for Preacher; I don't think Chris Pine is necessarily bad, but Shia Labouf I don't get? And Alex Pettyfer as the Saint of Killers?!?! The Saint of Killers is one of the all time great characters ever and has nothing to do with Pretty-boy Pettyfer. I don't know who would do a good enough job to play the Saint. Maybe Javier Bardem? I would rather they wait to invent some elixir that de-ages Clint Eastwood 20 years or resurrect Charles Bronson.

What in the holy hell is Caruso doing with Preacher??!?!?!? One of the greatest comic series of all time, and he wants to have a bunch of pretty boys in the leads????! (No disrespect to Pine, I dig him, but he is wrong for Preacher) Seriously, the guy from Beastly as the Saint of Killers?!??! He is about twenty years to young, too pretty, and nowhere near mean or badass enough. Get somebody older, rougher around the edgies for the part. I am talkiing somebody with chest hair and wrinkles and shit. I'd like to see Viggo Mortensen. As for Custer, same thing applies, just younger and somebody that has more range, since he goes through a lot more and actually has some emotions. Bale is the only person I can think of off the top of my head that I could see in the role. Colin Farrel for Cassidy; he's Irish and looks like he could handle himself in a fight. Not sure about Tulip, though. I hope Caruso bails on this so bad; he is bound to screw up, there is no doubt about that just from his thoughts on the cast.

Not familiar enough with Lawrence to be upset over the Hunger Games, although Steinfeld's performance in True Grit was enough for m to believe she alone should play Katniss. I'll actually watch Winter's Bone before defending that view point though; I'm sure she's talented.

As a side note, while Nolan's approval of Snyder's ideas is a good sign, I'm just not looking forward to Superman. Snyder has yet to make a movie that didn't feel like it was derivative or just plain trash.
