Predators needed more predators.

It's better when they don't show them that much. It's more suspenseful, more does not always equal better.

In Your Dreams
lol @ both of you missing the pointHe means there was too much fluff with the human characters and not enough of, you know, THE CREATURES MENTIONED IN THE TITLE OF THE FILM

Exactly. The fanboys are so blind and driven by their need to love this movie they overlook all of the movies faults and in this instance the faults drag it down.

Go back and watch Predator 1 and see how much you see of the Predator and compare... like the 2 said above there is nothing wrong with the amount of predators shown or the amount of screen time the predators have in film. the story is truely about the humans and how they deal with their situation with the predators not the predators themselves.

Agree with ^^This^^ guy.
Monster films always thrive on the LACK of monster appearances, not the over indulgence of special FX creations. Predators showed much more of the creatures than the original, and I think its the best in the franchise after the original of course.
Besides, the "Predators" title was a play on words. The people were the Predators, not the creatures.
Only gripe with the film: it needed more other worldly prey.
Maybe in the sequel.

I seem to remember a great bunch of predators... how much face time do they need? we can't even understand what the say!

this is a fantastic review. i liked the movie, good actioner, but yes, NOT ENOUGH predators. no healing scene, no scene with them messing with thier equipment, only one stalking scene, where's a scene with a predator "flanking" the humans running full speed cloaked? and falconer and tusks only have 2 scenes each before they die??? then berserker has whole last half hour??? that was just wrong.
nolan using preds cloaking tech was absurd. that makes thier technology less special, and less mysterious.

the one thing they did right was the characters and the acting was great. but they killed off trejo too quickly and off screen(for the gag understandable). i was mainly pissed that tusks and falcon were killed after only 2 times being onscreen. and the yakuza's death was silly stupid. how bout the rapist, laying there going "give it ta me!" what? why didnt he get up and run? did he get paralyzed from being thrown?
Jul 10 - 11:47 AM
He didn't get thrown. He got shot in the back.

The term "PREDATORS" is not just in reference to the group of aliens hunting the humans. It also has to do with the humans, who are all "PREDATORS" in their own way. Even to the point that towards the end of the film, the humans become the "PREDATORS" of the aliens.
