jokerboy1991 writes: on Oct 24 2008 05:59 PM A Dr. Strange movie could be very cool, maybe its just me but I think an AVENGERS movie is bad idea and I think it will be a train wreck. I would say Captain America is the MARVEL movie I am looking forward to the most, then IRON MAN 2, then Doctor Strange. I still don't think THOR is that great of character. (Reply to this) |

ledawg1138 writes: on Oct 24 2008 06:45 PM My pastor got me into comics. He's a easy mannered guy, but if you dis Thor, beware! He grew up with the big lug. I'm a huge comic guy, and Doctor Strange is a enjoyable hero, who's little known. I would see all the movies leading up to The Avengers, (Ant Man I'm a bit iffy, and I have yet to see the new Hulk, but I want to), and jokerboy's probaly right on The Avengers but I'd still see it. Why did Marvel kill Cap!? To make money, that's what. DC might make JLA which would have the same recption as The Avengers film. But I'd still see that. So I'll end with NEW AND INREDIBLE WATCHMEN TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all. (Reply to this) |

tomwaitsjr writes: on Oct 24 2008 06:48 PM On 13 Tzameti you wrote :"That scheme turns out to be a game of Russian roulette between 13 men sitting at a table, hence the title" That's actually not true. A lot of the suspence involves how the people are posititioned. They are never sitting at a table, though. Other than that, the less people know the better. It was a fantastic movie once the atrociously boring first 20 minutes ended. . . . and the audience for the ridiculous CLEO will be cut from horseface's SEX AND THE CITY. (Reply to this) |

jokerboy1991 writes: on Oct 24 2008 09:28 PM In reply to this comment (#2093166) Yeah I mean I would definitely see The Avengers is I heard it sucked, by I really think it would be a big old sloppy train wreck. I really wish MARVEL would just do individual series for now and hold off on The Avengers movie. Also I cant imagine Ant-Man, but I bet Edgar Wright could do a good job with it. I honestly think when WATCHMEN comes out that no other comic book movie will be able to top it, I really think it will blow all the other Super Hero/Comic book movies out of the water, as long as it isn't under 2 hours and 40 minutes! jokerofva writes: on Oct 24 2008 09:54 PM I do agree that an antman movie should not happen but i think a movie with Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor is going to work out just fine.I cant wait till WATCHMEN comes out. I just dont think marvel should waste their time on antman and some of the other crap *** characters as a movie.DR STRANGE would be cool im down wit that. (Reply to this) |

JettaJameson writes: on Oct 24 2008 10:33 PM The only thing on that list I'm excited about is the movie about Robert Ripley. And that's only because I just found out last week that he was born in and is buried in my home/current town of Santa Rosa, CA. (Reply to this) |

utkipp1 writes: on Oct 25 2008 10:34 AM In reply to this comment (#2093479) You mean better than any other comic book movie ever? Cause I don't think it will be able to top The Dark Knight. In all honesty I don't think any comic book movie besides a Batman 3 will be able to surpss it. (Reply to this) |

ledawg1138 writes: on Oct 25 2008 10:43 AM I'm setting the bar for Watchmen to be as good as V for Vendetta, one of my favorite movies and my second favorite comic book adaption, ( behind The Dark Knight.) Now Watchmen not only has to live up to it's critically acclaimed graphic novel, but it's two amazing trailers. It must be good. And I'd definately see Batman 3. Maybe we're setting the bar to high fo Watchmen. Oh, well. (Reply to this) |

gm1200 writes: on Oct 25 2008 02:37 PM Watchmen will do really well opening weekend because of the hype...and then peter out quick. The average movie goer is simply not going to get it or like it. Face it...the comic might have been one of the first to go that dark...but it certainly isn't among the best. Nostalgia does amazing things to people. (Reply to this) |

jokerboy1991 writes: on Oct 26 2008 04:37 PM In reply to this comment (#2094837) Yeah I do think it will be better then The Dark Knight. I love The Dark Knight but WATCHMEN is a lot more complex and dark then THE DARK KNIGH, and with how amazing close Snyder is staying to the book then it should be amazing, if he gets his current 2 hour and 40 minute cut out. v-alexander-the-great writes: on Oct 27 2008 09:53 AM AARARARGGH, Not another biopic about a nobody who becomes a somebody!! I'm sure the story of the landmine lady is very touching and such, but it's just going to be another long tearjerker inspirational drama...which is BORING!! The premise for the Hole seems kind of cool, let's hope it's genuinely scary. And let's just guess the Tomatometer for 'The Fiance' right now while we're at it. I say 26%, but it will come in #1 at the box office for the 2010 Valentine's weekend. I don't know how much it will make due to this unstable economic environment. (Reply to this) |
