Set in South Vietnam during the American involvement in the war, this film from a reunited Vietnam tells the story of a boy living in Saigon, hopelessly in love with a girl married to an American doctor. He loses heart for his college studies when a friend is killed during a demonstration, and he begins to hang out with a "fast" crowd. Then his sister returns.
