Movie Info

Set in South Vietnam during the American involvement in the war, this film from a reunited Vietnam tells the story of a boy living in Saigon, hopelessly in love with a girl married to an American doctor. He loses heart for his college studies when a friend is killed during a demonstration, and he begins to hang out with a "fast" crowd. Then his sister returns. She has secretly gone for training in the North as a resistance worker and manages to inspire the dissolute young man to help the cause

I was already a "Greatest American Hero" fan for 30 years before I recently watched this movie (I was 9 years old when it came out, and unable to watch it then), but I thought William Katt did a great job in this movie as a young man in love for the first time, with a woman who doesn't know what she wants.
