Movie Info

One of Elvis Presley's biggest moneymakers, Girls Girls Girls casts ol' swivel-hips as a tuna-boat fisherman working out of Hawaii. Elvis chases after all the wrong girls, while ignoring the girls who genuinely care for him. Here, as Ross Carpenter, Presley has two main love interests: sexy vocalist Robin (Stella Stevens and heiress Laurel (Laurel Goodwin), who pretends to be poor so as not to wound Ross's pride. When rude 'n' crude Wesley Johnson (Jeremy Slate), who owns Ross's boat, makes a play for Laurel, Ross punches him out. He loses his boat, but it hardly matters since he and Laurel have found true love. Songs crucial to the action are the title tune, "Return to Sender," and "Song of the Shrimp."more

Audience Reviews for Girls! Girls! Girls!

Silly plot, a lot of music including Return to Sender and colorful locations add up to a standard Elvis flick. Far from his worst but an equal distance from his best. Stella Stevens is wasted in the second female lead, anytime she shows up she elevates the movie to another level unfortunately that isn't nearly enough.

As you can tell by reading the synopsis on here, this movie has many faults, but if you're an Elvis fan you can't help not enjoying it anyway. This movie is okay, although on the fluffy side.

Cheesy but doesn't try too hard so ends up just plain ol' enjoyable- casual racism aside (not mean hearted at least, though definitely questionable). Too bad they didn't make use of the great 60s-tastic title, should a been more of a Casanova storyline.
