Storyboard Pitch Earns Young Filmmaker a Three-Pic Deal
Indie filmmaker Michael Davis
("Monster Man," "100 Girls
") earned himself a sweet deal the hard way
: he drew over 17,000 separate storyboards to indicate to the New Line execs how he could shoot the extensive action scenes in his (now upcoming) "Shoot 'Em Up." Apparently the New Line folks were so impressed with this display that not only did Davis get the green-light for the 'hardcore action' project "Shoot 'Em Up" - he got a three picture deal!
