Saul (Dudley Moore), a married psychiatrist, becomes romantically obsessed with Chloe (Elizabeth McGovern), one of his patients. Chloe has already devastated one psychoanalyst, and although the venerable Freud himself (Alec Guinness) appears to counsel Saul in his worst moments, the man continues on his tormented way. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

Dudley Moore plays an unconvincing psychiatrist who falls in love with a patient - Elizabeth McGovern. It is a pretty horrid movie. I gave up on it about 1/2 through.

I have never been much of a Dudley moore fan, but he's not to bad in this. Even with that, the movie is generally lifeless. Even Alec Guiness can't breathe life into this film. Bland romantic comedy.
