This biographical look at the late Mother Teresa, winner of the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize and founder of the Missionaries of Charity, provides an exhaustive glimpse at her round-the-world travels. With footage taken over a five-year period, director Ann Petrie shows Mother Teresa engaged in her selfless work at many trouble spots: she saves children in Beirut, changes diapers of the sick in India, and constantly urges the people of the world to work for peace.
