The dancing is beautiful, the choreography is superb, the set design and costumes are appropriately rich and textured, and the music is flawless
Baryshnikov and Kirkland are pure, weightless joy in this rendition of the beloved Nutcracker. Few ballets inspire such exhileration and passion.
Baryshnikov and Kirkland are excelent. But there is too much "TV" introduced into a theater fimm. I was spoiled by the Ballet West production in Salt Lake City. It makes this one look very weak.
