Critic Review - Salon.com

A dreadful film, a compendium of clumsy dialogue, one-dimensional characters, risible plot turns and long silences broken by incomprehensible meaningful looks.

Dear Rotten Tomatoes administrator,

Each time I came to see why such classics has low ratings in Rotten Tomatoes, I found that Rotten Tomatoes choses any loser critic as TOP Critic. Salon.com is an online magazine about politics, and not a good one. Why not use critics from a real magazine such as Premiere or Empire. The Empire magazine has selected Planet of the Apes as one of The 500 Greatest Movies of All Time.

Regards,

Fabio Marques.

If you really think suppressing people's (valid) opinions on films you have a fondness for is a good idea, then why don't you take a hike! I'm certain that if you really liked something then you wouldn't care for it's rotten tomatoes score.

heartless piece of crap. How could say it's "dreadful"? One, its COMPLETELY original. Two, it had a GREAT story plot. Clumsy dialogue? Um, ok? Name 5 places where its legitimately clumsy, and not somewhat corny (take the fact that the film was made in the 60's and some lines in films were slightly cheesy [get over that]) This was an excellent film that combined sci-fi action with a great storyline. Half of the movie critics on here are morons and can't review a movie without their own biased information. You top them all off bro!...oh and by the way, Salon.com?....for real? Come on. The LAST thing we need is a male movie critic coming on here and writing a crappy review on a great movie coming from a website for women and gay men (no offense to gay men).

Salon.com is a left-wing political blog so it's no surprise that they would bash a Charlton Heston film
