Rocky is by far the greatest Sports film ever made, nothing comes close and unlike other genres like Video game adaptation Rocky is even a contender with some other of the greatest films ever mad e.g. toy story, Jaws, The Empire Strikes Back, Lord of the rings and Spider-man 2.

implying movies that feature some sort of sport should be categorized as "sports movies;" the drama, tension, and overall content of raging bull elevates it to more than just being some "sports film" like the mighty ducks.

rocky is unrealistic and horrendously acted, it may be uplifting but for me it stops thier, its a good film but its certainly not one of the best movies of all time.
