Roeper hit the nail on the head. There's no reason that one can't like this movie and not consider it a cinematic gem. It's a fun and entertaining movie, nothing more or less.

I did in fact enjoy this movie, but not for the reasons many of the people I know enjoyed it. It's so over-the-top it starts to work its way into campy. Towards the end of the movie I can't help but find the majority of it comical, but comical in the best way possible.
