Audience Reviews for The Scarlet Letter

This movie was ok. It was pretty faithful to the book that Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote. It was made kind of silly though by the two characters who were supposed to be the comic relief. Nothing special, even though it seemed kind of plain.

Super Reviewer

Interesting and surprisingly faithful adamtation of the famous book, with the curious casting of silent screen star Colleen Moore in the lead role. She does a fine job though. It is quite dated, but it still tells a good story.

James Higgins
