Trailer Bulletin: The Shaggy Dog
by Scott Weinberg | February 15, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
In 1959 Disney released a live-action family comedy about a family man who turns into a dog. Instead of keeping "The Shaggy Dog" out of the public consciousness, for good reason, the remake gods dictated that we needed a brand-new version. And that it should star Tim Allen. Check out the trailer right here. And yes, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" is a song used in the trailer.

Plot synopsis: An uncaring father learns how to love his kids only after turning into a fuzzy sheepdog and causing all sorts of painfully slapstick antics.

Co-starring alongside the humiliated-looking Tim Allen are Kristin Davis, Danny Glover, Robert Downey Jr., Spencer Breslin, and Jane Curtin. The director is (not surprisingly) Brian Robbins, the artist who gave you "The Perfect Score," "Hardball," "Ready to Rumble," and "Varsity Blues."

March 10th is when it hits, so be careful when wandering the multiplexes that day.

shaggy dog
This looks horrible.

What happened to Tim Allen, he used to have a career as a comedian.

He seems to really like doing movies where he turns into different things -- a dog, santa clause, an Amish person, a sober person ... the list goes on.

God, remember when cocaine addicts used to be funny?

Anyways, the poster for this thing looks creepy. Like, something that furries could get off to.

WOW! If Uwe Boll had something to so with it, it may be a must see "bad movie of mankind"
