The story begins in the 13th century, as the Knights Templar destroy a village to erect a cathedral on the land. Flashing forward to the present, the cathedral is now haunted and, because a long sealed crypt has recently been opened, a torrent of evil spirits is rushing through the building, possessing its inhabitants and trapping them inside the building.
