Very sweet movie.. About how people change over the years and how they can change in a week..!

This movie can be split into two halves- the kids, and the adults. Thora Birch and Elijah Wood hold the movie together, being no less than their usual perfect selves in great roles, whereas Johnson and Griffith drag the film way down with their tedious and unbelievably trashy and melodramatic storyline that basically consists of them arguing, crying, and failing to get over their dead kid. All very sad indeed, but seriously boring to watch. The scenes with Birch and Wood are quality, and if they had been in it far more, the rating would be miles higher...

Pretty melancholy, but rightly so. A lot of movies that star a married couple fails, surprisingly because of lack of chemistry, but that's not the case here. A sweet and emotional film.
