Reviews for The Crush
The story not only relies on the complete and unalterable stupidity of every character in the movie, but on the gullibility of those who watch it.
A highly implausible but somewhat above-average and entertaining 'yuppie in peril' thriller.
An exploitative thriller that also harbors dangerous notions about and readily trivializes child neglect, sexual abuse and rape.
hy doesn't this guy just move out once he realizes the depth of this girl's obsession with him, instead of waiting until time runs out? Are all fact-checkers for trendy Seattle magazines this dense?
It’s impossible for a thinking person to watch this film without thinking about responsibility.
The Crush would be an entirely worthless and painfully familiar little thriller even without its creepy devotion to the sexiness of youth.
Yeah, Alicia Silverstone's a fetching little Lolita. But there's no excuse for this depressing 'Play Misty for Me' in spandex.
