Synopsis: Small-time bookie Cosmo Reif hits the big time when crime boss Gordon promotes the low-level thug to the respected position of hit-man. Owing its entire existence to Tarantino, with a touch of Hal Hartley thrown in, Cold Blooded is a wannabe black comedy about hit men in which the humor is forced and the pacing too deliberate to justify its generic label.
