  • Martine Carol stars as Nana, a poverty-stricken Parisian girl who rises from streetwalker to high-class cocotte during the last three years of the French Second Empire. Nana becomes the mistress of government official Count Muffat (Charles Boyer). Their genuine love for each other results in disgrace and disaster for them both.
