It's almost like a Catch-22: The Nutty Professor movies would not be the same if Sherman, Buddy Love, and the Klump family were not played by Eddie Murphy, but it's hard to judge whether Murphy's movies will be any good anymore (i.e. Meet Dave, Adventures Of Pluto Nash, Norbit). Just bury the project and be done with it.

I had to double check my calendar to make sure this wasn't an April Fool's joke. Wow... I can't believe a movie studio actually thinks there is a demand for this.

Do they really honestly believe we crave more movies with Eddie Murphy playing multiple characters? I don't think there is any evidence that we crave Eddie Murphy in ANYTHING at this point. And to do this without him would be twice as bad (if that's even possible to achieve).

The only upcoming Eddie Murphy vehicle on the calendar that I can almost slightly and with great amount of caution be interested in is Beverly Hills Cop IV. All this other stuff, I'll just pretend it exists only in an alternate universe where once great stars have lost all respect for themselves and their fans, content with making utter fools of themselves in progressively declining misfires.
