A few stray laughs here and there, but both comedians have done a whole lot better. And to waste Linda Fiorentino is just a sin.

Instead of being exhilarating, the excesses become exhausting.

Bulletproof is watchable. Barely, maybe. Still ridiculous, obviously. But it is not nearly as excruciatingly awful as Sandler's prior movie sins.

While some of the humor is very funny, there's nothing remotely interesting about the action stuff.

Dickerson and screenwriter Joe Gayton have misguidedly tried to turn Wayans into a physical action star and evidently hoped that Sandler could act.

The movie has a smirking homophobic bent and never makes you care or believe in the characters as much as in the first fifteen minutes.

A rather routine buddy-action/comedy that should have concentrated a bit more on the comedy side, and less on the action.

Bulletproof doesn't quite misfire, but it never hits its target either.

The audience is subjected to an onslaught of unfunny jokes, a string of useless profanity, and more explosive squibs than Caan wore in The Godfather.

The film's action elements are so preposterous that the sequence of events seems almost improvised.
