Yu's sumptuous blend of the impassioned performances, the lush photography, and the haunting melodies of the score and songs resonates with beautifully wrenching romantic longing.
It was okay, the song got stuck in my head. It didn't make sense why the "Phantom " wouldn't go to her.

Didn't pass my ten minute rule that a film has to engage me in the first 10 minutes. The acting was lame, the script was lame, the music was hyperdramatic. The only good part was that Chien-lien Wu was in it, and she's kind of pretty.
