"Blade" Writer to Focus on the "Thor" Movie
Summary
Comic book genius David S. Goyer (he wrote the "Blade" trilogy and "Batman Begins") will be dusting off his computer and getting busy on Marvel's big-screen rendition of "Thor" -- in addition to the work he's already done on "Captain America" and "The Flash." Back to Article

on Jul 05 2006 08:40 AM Who's writing the batman sequel? Hopefully he will. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 09:18 AM Hopefully "Thor" will be decent. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 12:25 PM For Batman: Jonathan Nolan is writing the script. Goyer and Chris Nolan did the story. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 01:10 PM I just hope Thor doesn't say- ("I say thee nay") It might get some unintentional laughter from the crowd. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 01:10 PM Brad Pitt for Thor. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 01:50 PM Um... did they just refer to David Goyer as a "comic book genius"? He's a terrible writer! Even by comic book standards. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 02:36 PM In reply to this comment (#839508) I don't really like the Blade movies, but Batman Begins is one of my favorite scripts. So many elements, perfectly balanced. (Reply to this) |

on Jul 05 2006 08:29 PM Never been a fan of Thor, but Goyer has some potential. His work on "Blade", "Batman Begins", and "Dark City" certainly gain him credit as a legit writer, however he sure screwed up the last two Blade movies- especially the 3rd one. Ugh. (Reply to this) |

on Aug 07 2007 06:16 PM Thor should be a good one (Norse God, loses powers on Earth, ends up with a limp, Hammer that chooses who can pick it up, Dad is the main God, it almost writes itself), if we haven't got fed up of comic book movies by then. How many are out in '08???? Capt America, Antman, Ironman, Batman/Dark Knight. By then trailers for spidey 4 and probably fantastic 4 number 3. (Reply to this) |
