Snipes Deals With More Undead
by Scott Weinberg | July 13, 2006
Discuss Article
Probably more than a little weary of doing military action flicks down in Romania, former star Wesley Snipes has signed on to star in "Gallowwalker," which is probably the only flick you'll ever see that has two consecutive Ws in its title. The story deals with guns and undead creatures.

According to Production Weekly via ComingSoon.net: "Wesley Snipes ("Blade" series) will play the lead in Andrew Goth's "Gallowwalker," written by Joanne Reay, who collaborated with Goth on his last film, "Cold and Dark."

Snipes will play mysterious gunman Kaos, the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Kaos - all those that die by his gun will return. Hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa, Kaos enlists Fabulos, a new young warrior to fight by his side. Filming is scheduled to begin in Namibia, South Africa next month."

So I guess this means no "Marksman 2" or "Return of the Detonator."

Wait, did he say the sidekick's name was "Fabulos"? Is this a comedy?

sigh
One day Snipes will be starring with a white music or sports star and they will make an action filick together and the movie will be a hit. Sure Snipes will be old and out of shape but let the man follow the path of our hero Steven Seagal. Hmmm dare I say it?? I propose a movie with Snipes, Seagal, and directed by Uwe Boll

yup, looks like Snipes will become a resident of Direct-To-Video Land like all the other aging action stars. he probably thought reprising his Blade role for a TV show was beneath a move star like him. he's dumped the character he will be the most remembered for to star in movies i wouldn't spend 5 bucks on as a rental and now he's gonna pay for it. say hi to Dolph Lundgren for us, Wesley.

Acadamy Awards, prepared to be slayed by Wesley Snipes. This is definately going to be the movie to see, forget Spiderman, Pirates 3, and Shrek, this movie sounds as if god came down from heaven to craft this masterpiece.

Ooooh I got something that nobody has thought of yet, that would be an amazing comeback for Wes.......Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes! On some martial arts, action, drama...That would be incredible, I wasnt feeling War with Jet Li and Jason though...You just need the right director to do it...take the choreographer of Transporter and a good director and there you go...Wesley, I feel your pain brotha, I feel theres still room for something amazing in your career...lets get this started...
