Weinsteins to Shape "Sin City" & "Rounders" for the Small Screen

Blog Article | Discuss Article
Variety informs us that Weinstein Co. has quite a few television projects in the pipeline, two of which are based on well-known cinematic properties: Frank Miller's "Sin City" and John Dahl's "Rounders."

"In the works are a skein based on Dimension Films' "Sin City" -- which would follow in the footsteps of 2006's second pic in Robert Rodriguez's "Sin" series -- and a skein based on the Miramax title "Rounders," capitalizing on the current craze for poker playing. Latter pic starred Matt Damon and Edward Norton, and was penned by Brian Koppelman and David Levien. John Dahl helmed."

Also, "skein" is how Variety says "TV show."

I love Sin City and Rounders was okay, but I don't want them to ruin it by a TV Show
