Movie Info
Chinese poet Gu Cheng enjoyed a legendary celebrity status in his native country, so much so that he was known as "The John Lennon of China." This fascinating film presents a revealing look at Cheng, from the heights of his well-deserved fame to the lowest depths of the depression he constantly battled. Cheng travels to New Zealand to evoke his poetic muse and come to terms with his love for two women -- a situation that can only end tragically.
