Despite first-rate acting, these stories are pretty ordinary stuff and tell us little about the actor-waiter's ordeal that's supposed to be the heart of the film.
The kind of film that works better on the small screen than in theatres.
This was almost certainly done by a writer/director who had a great deal of love for Woody Allen.
