Sarah (Kyra Sedgwick) is a New York City columnist who falls in love with -- and quickly gets pregnant by -- Ryan (Rob Morrow), a free-spirited artist who promptly vanishes for eight months. What can you say about a movie where the lead gets pregnant because the contraceptive sponge she thought she used was in reality a marshmallow?
Lackluster romantic comedy comes off as rather forced and way too cutesy. It doesn't help I am not a Kyra Sedgwick fan either. It can be annoying at times, it lacks good writing and direction. Mary Tyler Moore is wasted.
