Villainous ninjas rear their ugly masked heads in this story of a Japanese prince who, along with a Shaolin abbot, arranges a martial arts tournament in which Chinese and Japanese fighters face off against one another. The contest is just a ruse, however, as the prince is hatching an insidious plot that will result in the theft of Shaolin secrets and, ultimately, the overthrow of China itself.
