This made-for-cable tells the story of salesman Bill Porter who came into contact with numerous people during his decades of knocking on doors. Porter, suffering from cerebral palsy, didn't allow his condition to stop him from pursuing a career, and his story touched the heart of many of his potential customers. Often, his clientele would be presented with difficulties of their own that Porter's triumphant story would serve as inspiration to ignite change. Porter is played by William H. Macy in this biographical portrait. Macy also collaborated on the script with director Steven Schachter to see this personal project through. The pair also brought the mystery thriller A SLIGHT CASE OF MURDER to the small screen. [More]
