This 1954 episode from Uncle Milty's Buick-sponsored program is a side-splitting hour of inspired comedic mayhem featuring Arnold Stang, Ruth Gilbert, and Fred Clark. Throughout the skits is a running gag that the network is starving Mr. Berle in hopes its star will lose weight. This builds to a climactic comedic final number as the famished Berle sings a duet with Gloria De Haven. Berle also demonstrates his penchant for breaking rules when he returns after the credits roll to fill the required time slot. [More]
